Going Once! Twice! Gone Again! 3 HR for López Friday, September 16th , 2039 Montserrat Mystique center fielder Domingo López had a magnificent game against the Port Royal Privateers today, rocketing three balls out of Tanks Ballpark to help the Mystique take the 5-4 victory. "I got some good pitches to hit and I creamed them," he said after the game. "The first was a big, fat fastball and the last two were hanging curves. All three were mistakes." For the game, López went 4-for-4 with 5 RBIs and 3 runs scored. "There's a fine line between hitting home runs and line drives," Montserrat manager Xavier Vázquez said later. "Seems like Domingo found his home run stroke today." Domingo López singled in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Arturo Rodríguez in the 4th, hit a two-run home run off Arturo Rodríguez in the 6th and hit a two-run home run off Wes Lee in the 8th. So far this year López has hit .283 with 17 home runs, 35 RBIs and 29 runs scored. |
