3-HR Day for Clow Monday, September 26th , 2039 Khartoum designated hitter Bailey Clow blasted three homers today at The Rift in the 18-3 Raiders victory over the Addis Ababa Rifters. For the game, Bailey Clow scored 4 times and knocked in 5 runs. When he hit his last home run, his teammates, hearing the crack of the bat, leaped off the bench and rushed on the field to greet the jubilant Clow when he reached home plate. "It was just one game, but it sure was a lot of fun -- 4-for-6, three roundtrippers and a win," a gleeful Clow told BNN reporters in a postgame interview. "What a day." Bailey Clow struck out in the 2nd, flied out in the 3rd, hit a two-run home run off Alfredo Olvera in the 5th, singled in the 7th, hit a solo-shot off Jonathan Marshall in the 8th and hit a two-run home run off Chris Byrnes in the 9th. This season Clow has hit at a .333 clip with 41 RBIs, 23 home runs and 38 runs scored. He has played in 44 games. |
