Asmara's Trelawny Snags September Batting Title Saturday, October 1st , 2039 It's perhaps an award he'll win many more times through his career, as at age 19 Bertrand Trelawny has a lot of baseball ahead of him. But for now the young Asmara Modernists star can enjoy the numbers he put up in September, which have garnered him the nod as the Intercontinental Baseball Coalition Batter of the Month. His breakout month featured a .356 average with 13 home runs, 25 RBIs and 20 runs scored. This year Trelawny is hitting at a .309 pace with 28 home runs and 52 RBIs. He has played in 72 games and scored 48 times. |
