IBC Best Skipper, Flores of Mogadishu Wednesday, November 2nd , 2039 The Mogadishu Pirates had an outstanding season, much of it due to their astute and gifted skipper. For his managerial excellence, Juan Flores reaped the reward of being voted Intercontinental Baseball Coalition Manager of the Year. "A manager is only as good as the players he's managing," Flores told reporters. "If I didn't have the talent to work with, making all the right moves wouldn't have helped a bit." Under Flores the Pirates finished second in the Intercontinental Baseball Coalition Red Sea League with a record of 59-31. |
