Namuko shortstop Johnny Andrews had a good game in a losing cause. His team fell, 7-5, to Shizuoka at Puckmen Ballpark. Andrews went 3-3 with a home run, a double, and was hit by a pitch. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. Marshall Barber picked up the save for Shizuoka, his 9th of the year.

Shizuoka used the clutch hitting of Emílio Díaz to capture the win. The first baseman drilled a 2-run double in the top of the seventh inning to give the Anguirus the lead, 4-2. For the game, Díaz had 1 single and 1 double in 5 at-bats.

"I'm just looking for a good pitch that I can hit well," said Díaz. "And not try to do too much."
