Infantrymen Suffer 3-2 Loss to Bobcats
Cy-Fair HS Bobcats starter Zachary Torres turned in a top-notch performance against the Benedictine Prep HS Infantrymen at Cy-Fair HS Grounds. The result was a win for the Bobcats, 3-2. The winning pitcher was Torres, now 1-1. He tossed 5.2 innings of 2-hit ball, while walking 3 and fanning 4. Cy-Fair HS is now 18-10.

Corey Smith, who is rated as the 29th best prospect by BNN, aided the Cy-Fair HS cause with a run-scoring ground out in the bottom of the third. For the game, the center fielder drove in one run.

"This was a good win for us," said Torres. "It's one more step toward our ultimate goal."
