The home crowd had a good time watching the South Caldwell HS Spartans and Cy-Fair HS Bobcats get after it.

Luis Castro left his imprint on the 5-2 Cy-Fair HS win against the South Caldwell HS Spartans. Castro, who is rated as the 50th best prospect by BNN, went 2 for 4 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. The Bobcats, at 21-11, sit in first place in the Eastern League Deep South Conference.

Castro contributed a big hit, a 3-run home run, for Cy-Fair HS in the bottom of the third. With his team trailing 1-0, Castro took a sinker from John Miles and stroked the home run to right. His 8th home run of the season allowed the Bobcats to leap in front, 3-1.

"Good win for us," said Castro. "We'll lace up our cleats and go after the next one."
