Infantrymen Rally to Eke Out Win
In a tight contest at Goochland Ballpark, the Benedictine Prep HS Infantrymen edged the Blanchard HS Ligers by the score of 5-4. Benedictine Prep HS catcher Albert Haney, who blasted 1 home run, was a key contributor. The win was credited to Alex Thompson in relief. His record improves to 1-1. Don West took the loss. The Infantrymen raised their record to 11-20.

The Infantrymen relied on left fielder Arturo García for the game-winning hit. And, in the bottom of the 12th, he delivered, hitting a run-scoring single to seal the deal.

"We'll build on this win," said García.
