Infantrymen Deal Jaguars 2-0 Defeat
|
Annapolis HS pitcher Ryan Villanueva gave the Infantrymen all they could handle, but in the end, Benedictine Prep HS left Ballpark of Anapolis HS with a win, 2-0. Villanueva allowed 2 runs on 6 hits over 5.1 innings. Benedictine Prep HS reliever Ken Everhart picked up the win, upping his record to 3-2. Ryan Villanueva shouldered the loss. The Infantrymen go to 14-22 with the win.
Jack Crowley, the 16-year old left fielder , had a direct impact on the outcome. Crowley contributed a 2-run single in the top of the second inning to put Benedictine Prep HS up, 2-0.
"There was no wiggle room in this one," said Crowley.
