Elmer Murphy was masterful in helping the Cy-Fair HS Bobcats take down the Moody HS Trojans, 3-0. Bobby LeBlanc, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 13th save. The first-place Bobcats have won 5 in a row.

Cy-Fair HS relied on the hitting of Norm Norwood to pick up the win. The first baseman clubbed a 2-run home run in the top of the fifth inning to put the Bobcats on top, 3-0. For the game, Norwood had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
