Pitcher Ricardo Días was sensational for the Brophy Prep Broncos in his team's 8-1 triumph over the Mankato West HS Reds. Días picked up the win, and it was well-earned. The last-place Broncos now have a win-loss record of 6-7.

The Broncos got an important contribution from right fielder Will Frye, who in the bottom of the third punched a 1-1 fastball into right for a 2-run triple. It was his 1st triple of the season and put the Broncos ahead, 3-0.

Said losing manager Cristóbal Gonzáles: "Give the Broncos credit. They took advantage of our mistakes."
