The Osakasayama Swamp Dragons bested the Mauna Loa Vulcans by a score of 6-4, with right fielder Daniel Gómez getting the main credit. On the day, Gómez went 1-4 with a home run and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once for the Swamp Dragons. Osakasayama reliever Simon Etter picked up the win to move to 3-2. Scott Moore suffered the loss. The Hawaiian League Ninja-leading Swamp Dragons have a record of 45-27.

The game came to a dramatic end. In the bottom of the ninth, with Osakasayama trailing 4-3, Gómez hit a fastball from Scott Moore for a 3-run home run, giving the Swamp Dragons the walk-off win.

"Winning the game is always the first objective," Gómez said.
