Swamp Dragons Topple Vulcans, 2-1

The Swamp Dragons faced a stiff challenge from Mauna Loa pitcher Matsuo Yamashita, but persevered to claim a win at Recoil Stadium. The final score was 2-1. Yamashita went 7.1 innings and allowed 2 runs. Kuniaki Taguchi picked up the win in relief for Osakasayama, while Matsuo Yamashita took the loss. After today's action, Osakasayama sits at 47-27, while Mauna Loa falls to 37-37.
Kyung-wan Park, the 21-year old third baseman , had a direct impact on the outcome. Park contributed a run-scoring ground out in the top of the fourth inning to put Osakasayama up, 1-0.
