Walk-Off Win Makes Taitung HS 26-14
The Zhoushan HS Islanders got a superb performance from pitcher Tetsu Shimada, but the Taitung HS Hermits still won the game, 4-3. Shimada threw 5.0 innings allowing 2 runs. You-liang Zhu came out of the bullpen to earn the win. The right-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 2 innings. His record now stands at 3-1. The Hermits now have a mark of 26-14.

Cong Lung was the walk-off hero for Taitung HS. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Hermits pinch hitter hit a dramatic run-scoring double to send the teams home.

"I like winning," Lung told the Taitung HS Citizen. "I may joke around, but when it comes down to it, winning is the most important thing."
