Battlecats Resilient in 2-1 Win Over Strathcona HS
In a tight game between the Canuck HS Battlecats and the Strathcona HS Leopards, pitcher Bryan Pearce was terrific on the mound. The Canuck HS right-hander helped his team to the 2-1 win. The loss drops Strathcona HS to 0-2.

With the game on the line, Yue-jiu Xun came to bat in the bottom of the ninth. And the Canuck HS shortstop came through, cracking a run-scoring single off Lewis Innes, the Strathcona HS pitcher.

"For the most part, I stayed out of the middle of the plate," Pearce said.
