The Hunting Hills HS Stags wasted an impressive 5-inning effort from starter Pedro Romano, falling 2-0 to the Point Grey HS Hounds at Hunting Hills Ballpark. Jack Meadows collected save number 1. Every game is important, even these early ones, if the Hounds hope to make a postseason run.

Point Grey HS used the clutch hitting of Rory Lachance to capture the win. The first baseman drilled a run-scoring double in the top of the sixth inning to give the Hounds the lead, 2-0. For the game, Lachance had 1 single and 1 double in 4 at-bats.
