The Bowness HS Spartans beat the Point Grey HS Hounds, 5-4, in part because of designated hitter Colin Leslie. He was 1-3 with a home run and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. The win leaves Bowness HS with a record of 2-3.

The game ended with a bang. In the bottom of the ninth, with Bowness HS trailing 4-3, Roger Nixon jumped on a first pitch cutter from Jack Meadows for a 2-run home run, sending the Spartans to a walk-off win.
