Ballpark of Vancouver hosted an old-fashioned pitchers' duel.

Pitcher Ray Dumont was sensational for the Point Grey HS Hounds in his team's 2-0 triumph over the Strathcona HS Leopards. Dumont picked up the win, and it was well-earned. In 7.1 innings, Dumont surrendered 2 hits, while striking out 1 and walking 1. He allowed no runs. Jack Meadows sewed up the save, his 3rd.

Lewis Halfacre contributed a productive at-bat in the bottom of the third. With a runner on 1st, he hit a single. His at-bat helped Point Grey HS get the win.

"Come up with some new questions," snapped losing manager Mark Hunt to reporters, "and I'll come up with some new answers."

With the win, Point Grey HS improves its record to 4-3.
