Kings Defeat Hounds, 9-2
The Collegio San Carlo Kings downed the Point Grey HS Hounds, 9-2. The hitting star was right fielder Jeremie Sansovino. Sansovino went 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once for the Kings. The winner in relief was Gaspare Boscocuro. He is now 1-1. The right-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 4.1 innings. The second-place Kings are now 7-4, the Hounds 5-6.

Pierluigi Aulenti had a big 3-run home run for the Kings in the bottom of the second inning. With Collegio San Carlo leading 2-0 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he got a fastball from Shigeru Ueda and swatted a home run to right. It was his 1st home run of the season, and more importantly, it put the Kings ahead, 5-0.

"The boys were really swinging the bats today," winning manager Nobuhito Sugiyama said.
