Autobots Beat Mahi-Mahi, 3-2

Iacon Yards was the site of an exciting ballgame between the Atsumi Autobots and Maui Mahi-Mahi.
The Atsumi Autobots topped the Maui Mahi-Mahi, 3-2, in Hawaiian League action at Iacon Yards. The standout performance belonged to Atsumi pitcher and Saint-Hyacinthe, Canada, native Jay Taylor. Taylor, now 2-0, was the winner. In 6.2 innings, he gave up 5 hits, while striking out 12, walking 2, and allowing 2 runs.
One of the key players for the Autobots was designated hitter James Verney, who drilled a run-scoring single in the bottom of the third inning. For the game, Verney went 2-4 with 2 singles.
"We'll hit the hot tub in good spirits tonight," said Verney.
The third-place Autobots lifted their record to 36-39.
