Clint Edwards impressed in the 7-6 Maui win over Hilo. Edwards went 1 for 3 with a home run and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Maui's record now stands at 40-38, placing them second in the Hawaiian League Archipelago.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the 11th inning, when Maui third baseman Falley L'ami, facing Yi-da Xú, had a run-scoring sacrifice fly. It gave the Mahi-Mahi the 7-6 win.

"It wasn't our best performance," said Edwards, "but a win in this league is nothing to sniff at."
