Waters drives in 5 runs to Power Grizzlies Offense
|
Jesse Waters drove in 5 runs to help Rocky Mountain HS defeat Snow Canyon HS, 7-1. The right fielder had 1 double and 1 home run for the Grizzlies. Tim White got the win, improving to 4-0. He pitched 6 innings, giving up 4 hits and no runs, while striking out 4 and walking 0. Rafael López recorded the save, his 1st.
Waters had no bigger at-bat than in the bottom of the first when the 16-year old right fielder hit a grand slam home run. The home run gave Rocky Mountain HS the lead, 4-0. It was his 3rd home run of the season.
Waters called the win "a collective effort."
The misery continues for the Yeti, which has now dropped 11 in a row.
