The Castle HS Lords went down to defeat to Arturo Rodríguez and his Oswego HS teammates. The final score was 4-0 in favor of the Lynx. Rodríguez got the win, improving to 1-0. He allowed 4 hits and walked 1 over 5.1 innings. Rodríguez allowed no runs. The save went to Anderson Hamilton, number 1 for him.
José Encarnación, the 16-year old first baseman , had a direct impact on the outcome. Encarnación contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the fourth inning to put Oswego HS up, 2-0.
"Every win gets us closer to our ultimate goal," said Encarnación.
With the win over Castle HS, the Lynx improved to 12-8.
