Myrmidon Deal Skeeters 5-0 Setback
The De La Salle HS Myrmidon picked up a win at Skeeters Ballpark, knocking off the Yerington HS Skeeters, 5-0. Starting pitcher Héctor Cortéz was a big reason why. De La Salle HS now owns a record of 13-10.

The Myrmidon got a big hit from left fielder Ramiro Garza. In the top of the seventh, Garza pounded a 2-run home run to right-center. His 4th home run of the season put the Myrmidon ahead, 2-0.

"It's good to win," Cortéz told the De La Salle HS Daily. "I like to have fun doing it."
