The Waimalu Nene downed the Ewa Beach Imperialists, 4-3, in 10 innings. Gerry Embling led the way, going 2-for-3 for Waimalu. The Nene now have a record of 55-34 with the win over Ewa Beach.

The game ended with a bang. In the bottom of the tenth, with Waimalu trailing 3-2, Oliver López jumped on a first pitch sinker from Troy Thomas for a 2-run home run, sending the Nene to a walk-off win.

After the game, Waimalu manager Carlos Rivera applauded the team's effort. "They busted their tails out there," he said.
