Starting pitcher Noah Surtees held up his part of the bargain, helping the Hilo Hoops stymie the Lana'i City Pineapples, 3-2. In 6.1 innings, Surtees surrendered 4 hits, while striking out 6 and walking 4. He allowed 2 runs. Jo Nii recorded the save, making him 4 for 5.
