The Swamp Dragons grabbed a win, 4-3, at Blacksnakes Ballpark, overcoming a fine effort from Kobayashi pitcher Tony Galván. Galván went 5.1 innings and allowed 2 runs. Osakasayama pitcher Robbie Williams got the win, upping his record to 6-5. Tsumemasa Yamada got the loss. Simon Etter nailed down his 6th save.

Osakasayama used a clutch hit from Michael Eubank to get the win. The designated hitter drilled a solo home run in the top of the 11th inning to put the Swamp Dragons ahead, 4-3. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"Our team showed some resilience," said Eubank.

The win gives Osakasayama a season record of 63-32.
