Nuggets Topple Lynx, 2-1

Oswego HS second baseman Tom Wilson had a terrific game, but it still wasn't enough to get his team a win. Wilson was 2-3 with a home run and a walk, even as Dakota HS beat the Lynx, 2-1. Jason Bishop came out of the bullpen to earn the win. The right-hander allowed no runs on 3 hits in 3.2 innings. His record now stands at 1-0. The Nuggets improve their record to 14-20 with the win over Oswego HS.
Tyler Grady, the 18-year old first baseman , had a direct impact on the outcome. Grady contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the third inning to put Dakota HS up, 2-0.
"Ah, the sweet taste of victory," Grady crowed after the game.
