Torchbearers Knock Off Lords at Ballpark of the Torchbearers

Castle HS right fielder Jeremy Rosner had a good game, even if his team did not. The Lords dropped a 4-2 decision to Sprague HS at Ballpark of the Torchbearers. Rosner slugged 2 home runs. Lewis Beasley snagged the win in relief. In 4.2 innings, the left-hander allowed 1 run on 3 hits. He's now 3-0 on the season. Sprague HS is 19-26 and Castle HS, with the loss, 27-17.
The Torchbearers got a big at-bat from shortstop Héctor Ramírez. For the game, Ramírez went 1-3 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the third, with runners on 1st and 3rd, he stroked a 3-run home run. His 8th home run of the season gave Sprague HS a 4-1 lead.
"We put a lot of pressure on ourselves," Ramírez told a Sprague HS News reporter. "Sometimes we just need to relax."
