Right-hander Justin Reagan mesmerized the Mankato West HS Reds while leading the Rio Rancho HS Goats to a 2-0 victory. Allen Alexander, now 1-1, was credited with the win. He allowed no runs on 1 hit, while striking out 0 and walking 0. Augusto Galván, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 6th save.
Rio Rancho HS took a 2-0 lead on Deron Jackson's 1st home run of the season. The 2-run home run, which Jackson hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Mankato West HS pitcher Domingo Serrano shaking his head.
Reagan called the win "a lesson in teamwork."
