4-1 Geckos Win over Leones Evens Season Record
The Aix-Marseille Universite Geckos and Atletico Castille Sociedad Deportiva Leones completed their game despite the rain.

Aix-Marseille Universite picked up a win at College Grounds, bumping off the Atletico Castille Sociedad Deportiva Leones, 4-1. Pitcher Guillermo Polo was a major reason the Geckos emerged victorious. In 6 innings, Polo surrendered 2 hits, while striking out 3 and walking 2. He allowed no runs. Gérard Léonard closed it out for his 12th save.

Florian Combe drove in one run for Aix-Marseille Universite. The 19-year old left fielder had a key at-bat in the bottom of the fourth. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 0-0 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off Santiago Padilla. It was his 9th RBI of the season.
