A good performance from left fielder Simon Deschu helped the Hildegard Saints defeat the Eton Rifles, 4-3. Deschu was 2 for 4 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once for the Saints. Josh Sterne earned the win after being called from the bullpen. The left-hander allowed 1 run on 2 hits in 3 innings. He upped his record to 2-1. With the win, Hildegard pushed its record to 8-6.

With Hildegard trailing 1-0 in the top of the fourth, Deschu came up to bat against Eton pitcher Gideon Gibbard. Deschu hit a fastball to right-center for a 2-run home run. His 2nd home run of the season put the Saints on top, 2-1.

"It feels good to get this one," Deschu told the Hildegard News.
