Strathcona HS picked up a win at Hunting Hills Ballpark, toppling the Hunting Hills HS Stags, 5-0. Pitcher Jason Raymond was one of the reasons the Leopards triumphed. Aki Kato earned the save, his 1st, for the Leopards. The victory puts Strathcona HS at 5-9.

Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Yunosuke Matsumoto? The Strathcona HS right fielder had a run-scoring double in the top of the first inning to put the Leopards on top, 1-0. For the game, Matsumoto had 1 double and 1 single in 5 at-bats.

"I'm not out there for personal accomplishments," Raymond told a Strathcona HS Daily reporter after the game. "I'm out there to help the team win, and that's what we did today."
