Stallions Drop Contest, 4-2, to Eton
|
Eton starter Yoshitoki Noguchi had a strong outing against the Immaculata HS Stallions at Immaculata Grounds. The right-hander was a big part of his team's 4-2 win. Eton has now won 4 straight, while the Stallions have lost 3 in a row.
Eton used a well-timed hit by Won-jun Chu to capture the win. The right fielder socked a run-scoring double in the top of the fifth inning to put the Rifles ahead, 4-2. Though it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it was important.
"We've got a great group of guys," Chu said, "and we're having fun right now."
