The South Kamloops HS Colossus clobbered the Canuck HS Battlecats, 13-3, at Seaside Park. South Kamloops HS catcher Huo-tu Guo led the onslaught. He went 4 for 5 with a home run and 2 doubles. He scored 3 runs and drove in 6. The 6th-place Colossus improved to 8-14.

The outcome turned when Huo-tu Guo came to bat in the top of the eighth. With one out and the bases loaded, the South Kamloops HS catcher hit a bases-clearing double. It gave his team the lead and helped them secure the win.

"We got our butts kicked," said Canuck HS manager Ichiyo Sato.
