The San Felipe HS Spaniards got a sterling performance from pitcher Ernesto Estrada, but the Point Grey HS Hounds still prevailed, 3-2. Estrada threw 5.1 innings of shutout ball. Jack Meadows was credited with the save for Point Grey HS, his 6th of the season. The Hounds go to 12-12, putting them 4th in the Atlantic Conference Canadian Division.

Point Grey HS used the clutch hitting of Bill Maitland to capture the win. The right fielder drilled a 2-run double in the top of the ninth inning to give the Hounds the lead, 3-2. For the game, Maitland had 1 single and 1 double in 3 at-bats.

"I had a good game," said Maitland. "Winning makes it even better."
