The Nassau HS Coasters got a good effort from starter Gabriel Margerison in defeating the Canuck HS Battlecats at Seaside Park. The final score was 2-0. Aaron MacElfrish recorded the save for Nassau HS, his 9th of the season. The win makes Nassau HS 25-9.

A defensive lapse proved costly in the contest. In the top of the sixth, with the game tied, Robbie Taylor was at the plate when Nassau HS scored 1 on an error. The miscue enabled the Coasters to go in front, 1-0.

"Runs were tough to come by," said Taylor. "But we scored just enough to win."
