Nassau HS beat Bowness HS at Nassau Ballpark, eking out a 6-5 win. The win was due in large part to third baseman Harvey Mence. He went 2 for 3 with a double and a walk. He scored 2 runs. Nassau HS reliever Aaron MacElfrish was the winner. His record is now 1-3. Ed Cunningham took the loss. The Coasters, at 29-14, sit in first place in the Atlantic Conference Caribbean Division.

In the bottom of the ninth, with two out and the game tied, 5-5, catcher José Guzmán won it for Nassau HS. With runners on 2nd and 3rd, Guzmán hit a full count slider from Ed Cunningham for a run-scoring single, giving his team the 6-5 win.
