The Lana'i City Pineapples got a stellar effort from pitcher An-yi She, helping Lana'i City score a win over the visiting Kobayashi Fireflies, 3-2. Lana'i City pitcher Kelly Callahan got the win. He's now 2-1. Pedro Sánchez was tagged with the loss. Gunnar Lee was called on to finish, recording his 10th save.

The game was at a stalemate until left fielder Jarrod Bradshaw came to bat in the bottom of the eighth. Facing Kobayashi pitcher Jaime Gaona, he hit a 2-2 fastball for a run-scoring single. It was a game-changer, putting Lana'i City on top, 3-2.

"We found a way to get it done," She said.

Lana'i City's record now stands at 35-63, placing them last in the Hawaiian League Archipelago.
