Almost There: Port Lincoln HS On Cusp of R1 Triumph After 11-4 Win
Riding the 3-hit performance of right fielder Allan Yi, the Port Lincoln HS Trawlers flattened the Zhoushan HS Islanders, 11-4, in Game 4 of the Round 1 today. Yi went 3 for 4 with 2 home runs and a walk. He scored 3 times and drove in 4 for the Trawlers, who now lead 3-1 in the best-of-7 series.

The game turned with no one out in the top of the fourth when Yi hit a solo home run. It propelled the Trawlers into the lead, 2-1.

"We haven't stopped playing," Zhoushan HS manager Naofumi Hayashi said. "We didn't get this far to give up."

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Zhoushan Ballpark in Ningbo.
