Trawlers Advance to Round 2
The excitement in Port Lincoln HS is palpable as the local club has advanced through the Round 1.

The Port Lincoln HS Trawlers downed the Zhoushan HS Islanders 2-0 tonight at Zhoushan Ballpark, to take the series 4-1.

"Things are going to get crazy in Port Lincoln HS for the Round 2. The fans are going to be behind us 100 percent, we know that," said Stephen Milk, who earned MVP honors.

"There's a lot of motivation in our clubhouse right now to make sure we give them something to cheer about."

For the series, Milk hit .500 with a .500 on-base percentage. He had 10 hits, 0 home runs, 2 RBI and scored 5 runs.

The Port Lincoln HS Trawlers don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Andong HS Folk Warriors - Dunedin HS Scots series. That series is tied at 2 games apiece. The Round 2 schedule will be announced after the Round 1 finishes.
