In a crucial game, the Tennoji HS Sensei put on their best show, beating the Taitung HS Hermits by a final score of 4-2 today. Owen MacIlroy threw 5.2 innings of shutout ball. Tennoji HS and Taitung HS are now tied at 3 wins apiece in the best-of-7 affair.

Tennoji HS used the timely hitting of Masayoshi Koda to seize the win. The pinch hitter stroked a 2-run single in the top of the eighth inning to put the Sensei on top, 4-1. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a game-changer.
