Win Extends Namami Samurai Lead to 3-1 Over Hermits
The Chiben HS Namami Samurai moved to within one game of the Round 3 today, downing the visiting Taitung HS Hermits at Chiben Ballpark by a score of 3-2. Namami Samurai second baseman Ron Stoddart did some major damage. He was 3 for 4 with 3 singles. The win gives the Namami Samurai a 3-1 advantage in the best-of-7 Round 2.

In the bottom of the fifth, with Chiben HS leading 2-1, the Hermits allowed the Namami Samurai to go up, 3-1, on a base hit and Taitung HS error.

"Things aren't going great right now," Taitung HS manager Oscar Olson said. "But you don't need me to tell you that."

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Wednesday, May 11th , 2039.
