The Yasu Storks had to overcome a big game from Waikiki right fielder Jong-suk Ch'ang to leave Field of the Storks with a victory. And they did, winning 5-4. Ch'ang was 2-3 with 2 home runs and was hit by a pitch, while scoring 3 and driving in 3. Picking up the win was James Thornber. He went 9 innings, allowing 4 runs on 4 hits. The right--hander struck out 6 and walked 0. The win makes Yasu 44-58.

The game ended with a bang. In the bottom of the ninth, with Yasu trailing 4-3, José Peña jumped on a 0-1 fastball from Gesang Ananas for a 2-run home run, sending the Storks to a walk-off win.

Peña told the Yasu Bulletin: "Win or lose, I don't want to see our team outhustled."
