Win Extends Myrmidon Lead to 3-0 Over Lords
The De La Salle HS Myrmidon are one game away from a sweep after beating the visiting Castle HS Lords, 3-2, at Myrmidon Ballpark today. Myrmidon left-hander Chester Barnes had a standout performance in which he threw 5.2 innings of 4-hit ball. De La Salle HS now holds a 3-0 advantage in the best-of-7 Round 3.

In the bottom of the sixth, Matthew Baskerville delivered a clutch hit. With two gone and runners on 1st and 2nd, the De La Salle HS first baseman hit a 3-run home run, putting the Myrmidon in front, 3-2.

"We had a good game plan," Barnes said, "and we were able to execute it."

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Myrmidon Ballpark in Concord.
