Kenai Wins Wild Card

Minh-Tong Wang said he expected the Wild Card to be "a battle from start to finish."
In the end, it was nothing more than a minor skirmish, as the Kenai Traders encountered little resistance in sweeping the Whitehorse Explorers, to advance to the Divisional.
"It may have been a sweep, but it still was a tough series," said Wang.
Kenai won the final game by a 3-1 count and were led in the series by Wang, who was named MVP. On the series, he hit .364 with 2 home runs. He also drove in 4 RBI and scored 2 runs.
The Divisional matchups and schedule will be announced after the Wild Card finishes.
