Imperialists Win to Extend Series Lead to 3-0
The Ewa Beach Imperialists are one game away from a sweep of the Waimalu Nene today after a road win at Waimalu Grounds, 6-3. Imperialists right-hander Bud Graham had a strong outing. He threw 6.2 innings allowing 2 runs. Ewa Beach now holds a 3-0 advantage in the best-of-7 Championship.

Ewa Beach used the bat of Conroy Maddox to capture the win. The left fielder jacked a grand slam home run in the top of the fourth inning to put the Imperialists ahead, 6-0. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a dandy.

"We don't have much margin for error now," Nene manager Carlos Rivera said. "We need to figure out the problem and fix it, immediately."

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Waimalu Grounds in Waimalu.
