The Outback State University Crocs beat the Waseda Bear, 3-1, at Ballpark of Sasebo College. The win was due in part to designated hitter Mark Leveque, who threw 7.0 innings of 4-hit ball. Ethan Marshall, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 15th save. Outback State University currently is in third place in the Pacific League Down Under Division at 25-28.
With one out in the top of the first, Brody Mckinna put Outback State University in front, 2-0, with a 2-run single. The Crocs went on to win the ballgame.
Mckinna called the win "a collective effort."
