Billy Petersen Nabs Best Player Trophy Sunday, June 14th , 2037 He may have less experience than most of his Interscholastic Federation peers, but that didn't slow Billy Petersen down at all in 2037. At the age of 17, the East Rutherford HS left fielder has been named the winner of the Eastern League Outstanding Hitter Award. He had a .270 batting average and a .332 on-base percentage this year. In 46 games he piled up 47 hits, 9 doubles, 1 triple, 1 home run, 9 RBIs and 24 runs scored. "I'm blown away by the season I was able to put together," he said. "I'm looking forward to trying to do it all again next year." He received 25 first place votes out of a possible 44.
