Marvin Pitts Injured, Out for Year Tuesday, March 16th , 2038 Marvin Pitts will soon find out from his doctors if his season will continue. The first diagnosis was not too positive and indicated the Winter Springs HS shortstop could miss the remainder of the year. Pitts was injured while being hit by a pitch in the Bears-Gators clash at Palm Beach Gardens HS Grounds recently. Doctors said he has a broken bone in the elbow and would be out a minimum of 4 months. For the season, Pitts is hitting at a .204 clip with 1 home run, 3 RBIs and has scored 6 runs. He has 11 hits, 6 walks and a .317 on-base percentage. |
